Prevention of the break-up of Tezatsimi village - encouraged to invite refugees from Chimi to live there |

To Tezatsimi, a longish march (say 16 miles). The new bridle path more used by deer than men I think, at present. The Kutsori khel of Melomi have let their section get very bad and the Muharrir reports that they refused to work on it. I sent for the Gaonburas to meet me at Chipuketama together with another who like the Lapvomi people has been usurping his brother's inheritance of red cloth. |

Tezatsimi consists of 9 inhabited houses at present as some have run away to Kotesimi, but Mr. Barnes ordered that the village must not break up as it is wanted where it is to give help to the rest house that will probably be built between Melomi and Phekrokejuma. I told the Gaonbura that he had better go and invite to his village the 14 refugee households from Chimi at present at Photsimi. |
