text: To Chantongia. Mongnyu, which gets cloths at Mokokchung, has broken the peace by attacking Urangkong, another friendly village. They had a great battle in which many spears were thrown and some guns fired but no one hurt on either side. I wish I could find out where Mongnyu got their powder. Mongnyu were sent for, but did not turn up. Their cloths will probably be confiscated by the Sub-divisional Officer.
