text: Halted Yekura, disposed of a Dak and went down to the river to see the caves. The Nagas had talked of an underground river, but it proved to be a passage between very high cliffs eaten through irregularly by the water so that they overlapped one another at different strata, shutting out the light. Not very wonderful but worth a visit. There are Chelwa to be had in this stream sometimes but too cold this time. One of my dobashis very bad with fever.
