text: To Nerhema. Just before starting I got a helio from Major Vickers that there was an epidemic in Tekhubama, and on the road I heard of another in Iganumi and the neighbourhood. Apparently influenza, but one village is said to have had 50 deaths, and I only heard yesterday of the death of Resopu, perhaps the best of all my dobashis, in Cheswejuma of pneumonia.
text: The Nerhema Gaonburas complained of their village having had to supply coolies for the reliefs going to Mokokchung. As they do the normal carrying on the road, they should not have been called on for this.
