text: Through Morakcho and Nungtsung to Chidi. Only about six or seven miles but the first two a very stiff climb straight up out of the Dayang valley at as stiff a gradient as one could have short of a precipice.
text: Counted all three villages. Chidi within the memory of man was a big village of three times its present size. The empty house sites are still obvious enough. It has dwindled very rapidly, apparently for no particular reason.
