text: The rearrested prisoner was produced early in the morning but the other had escaped during the night and was not caught this time. He was in the quarter guard and the guard fired at him but apparently did not hit him.
text: We had planned marching to Lhoshyepu but decided to go to Nihushe, a small new village to the south of it, instead in order to avoid the fearful pull up from the Tita to Lhoshyepu. It proved a very long march, however, and we should have done much better to stop and camp at Tita.
