text: | To Zubza. Inspected the road post and kit. There is a peach tree in the garden with some ripe and edible peaches on it. An unusual phenomenon in the Naga Hills. Some brilliant fellow in the Public Works Department has obscured all the front windows of the Inspection Bungalow with a dirty sort of white stuff. I can't conceive why. I suppose his deeds are evil and he therefore loves the darkness. |
