text: | To Japvo. On the way I passed the tree Kigwema had felled for their door. An enormous tree about five miles from the village or more, and nearly all wasted. They told me they selected the tree by finding one the girth of which was three times the breadth required for the door. |
text: | I camped on the top of Japvo. It was very cold and the water in my camp basin froze into a solid block. |
