text: To Chekwema (Yangkhulen) again. It rained steadily all the way and continued with one short interval till dark.
text: I learnt that Khonoma has never really given up its habit of looting the Kacha Nagas. Only seven years ago some men were actually caught looting a pig. I am glad to say that Chekwema took Rs. 200/- off them, but I expect they have had their own back since. Three years before that Chekwema caught a man of Khonoma looting their goats and thought themselves lucky to be able to do Khonoma a favour by letting him go.
