text: To Yekura, where I eventually got dry and felt it for the first time since the morning of the 8th. During the process a phenomenally heavy dak rolled up, consisting mostly of Medal rolls (Kuki Punitive Measures) in quadruplicate for signature. A tiger or a leopard had killed this morning not far off, but steady heavy rain damped off any ardour I might have had for going after it.

text: Halted Yekura and worked off arrears of writing and signing medal rolls. Disposed of one or two cases from Kenoma, and attempted to get dry and partially succeeded.
