The D.R. Khansama complains that he had been required to take a pass at Rs. 3/- per month for the collection of wood in the unclassed S.F. for the use of the D.B. This, he says, is new and had never been required before. I gather from what I am told that the only other people who pay for firewood collecting are men who make a trade of carting and selling it. If this is so, and indeed in any case, I think the D.B., which is not going to trade in it, might get it free. |
