text: To the site of the Phiro - Silizuma land dispute - about 10 miles bad going up the Nzu river. The place is called Muni.
text: The villages at this end of the Lhota country go in for stone- paved graves quite unlike the thatched graves further North. In Mailang many graves are made in hollows of sandstone rock paved in with flat slabs in front and above to fill in the opening.
text: I was told here of two Angamis of Kohima who came and took away apotia cows in direct disobedience of Mr. Mills' orders. One was Visale of Kohima. The cows were sold, one to Noasa G.B. of Tseminyu for Rs.18/- and the other said to have been sold to Chichama. Also a pig, which was eaten, apparently, or at least killed and cut up and carried of as pork.
