text: 12/7/1926 To Chantongia. Here the chief local interest is a schismatic church - a sort of wee free establishment which refused to join the orthodox congregation in separating from the village. Impur for this reason will not recognize them, but being very wishful to do so keep pestering the S.D.O. to go back on the original orders, under which they obey heathen amungs while living in the village, so that they can recognize the congregation and, no doubt, its subscriptions to the general fund, without loss of face.
