text: 30/7/1926 To Kilomi, and a healthy crop of cases. The rain lately has been phenomenal and I have never seen so much water coming down the hill here. Every stream is flooded and the damage to drains and the bridlepath is considerable. On reaching Kilomi, I heard that the Sidzu suspension bridge, a big iron bridge put up, I think, by Burns long ago has been carried away. It is reported by those who have seen it to be past repair.
