To Cheswezumi. On the way I noticed a lot of buffaloes grazing on the Cheswezumi side of the river and in the jhum fields. The coolies (Theniazumi) complained of the damage they did and I told them that they could complain if the graziers allowed the buffaloes to trespass after the crop was sown.
