text: An Ao Naga cultivator here applied for exemption on the [strength] of having been in the Labour Corps to France. He is entitled to exemption from house tax, but what the position is if he pays land revenue I am not sure. Anyhow it will be so little that it does not matter. He also applied for a medal for Kuki operations.
