Old stones at Gosutomi; many cases |
text: |
To Yepothomi via Gosutomi - a steep climb of some four miles, and then another four or so of up and down along the saddle. An infinity of cases here. They went on till nightfall and I suppose if I stopped 10 days they would go on the same. Gosutomi is a very old site and looks as if it had once been occupied by Lhotas. There is a fine ficus with stones beneath it and the path from the river passed between a couple of erect stones which the Gaonbura said marked a land boundary but did not know whose. There was a village fence of Euphorbia. |

Halted Yepothomi. Heard cases most of the day and sent off a dak. |
