text: 26th. To Kidima - about 9 miles - where we dealt with a case between that village (in the Naga Hills) and Pudanamir in the Manipur State - a stupid business about some genna stones over which both villages who have a long standing enmity were much worked up. Also disposed of a fishing dispute between Gaziphema (Laiyi) in Manipur and Shitsemi (Thacluhuhu) (sic) in the Naga Hills.
text: 27th. To Mao - about 5 miles, and there caught a lorry in to Kohima.
