villages complain of Kekrima denying them use of roads during gennas |

25th. To Chizami. Old Tehemo met us a mile from the village having drink taken already. By the time he left us at the bungalow he had rather more than he could carry. Much heat, much liquor and many litigants here. |

Chizami, Swemi, Thatsemi, Yasebami and Mesolozumi complained of the truculence of Kekrima in abusing and threatening them for using the bridle path during the 'titho' genna - and claiming that they have the D.C.'s permission to use abuse and threats. As far as I know the principle has always been enforced that gennas of this kind cannot be allowed to interfere with traffic on the bridle paths; Kekrima will be admonished and the complaining villages given a copy of the order. |
