text: Dear Balfour,
text: I hope the fifth case, the one that got lost in the railway, turned up all right by the "Venice" and had not been looted.
text: I see from an old paper in the A.S.B. that Mikir, and some others, jews harps are said to be played two at a time the pair giving double notes, and that the Assamese use iron jews harps of their own manufacture. I will ask Mills if he can get specimens, but I rather doubt the double jews harps yarn though I know the Aos get them in pairs.
