text: Spent the morning in the Angami village photographing. The natives were very busy drying rice & millet on large mats spread out in the sun. I purchased a woman's loin-cloth, a pair of dance-baldrics (worn over the shoulders & crossing diagonally) & a pair of ear-ornaments for 18.25 Rupees. I left the village by a different gate with very heavy carved door, cut out of a single tree-trunk of huge size (I sketched this)
