Day spent in Bombay; a disappointing museum |

After chota hazri in bed I got up & went to the Club for breakfast. I went to the Museum, which is disappointing, as there are few labels & very little information. The building is badly designed for a museum. The zoological collections were not on view. I went to the P & O. office & verified my passage home in the "Moldavia", & I drew some money at Cook's. Dined at the Club with Wilson (American Consul), Molyneux and Thomas (assistant consul). |
