text: Very many thanks for the reprint of your address to the Folk Lore Society...Addresses like that are a most valuable help to us - especially now that the missionaries are showing signs of setting their battle in array. Hutton is writing a long article on our T.F. expedition, which will come to me to be vetted. You will of course see it, so I need not go into any more details. I must try and send you photographs or sketches or something showing the evolution of the Chang chest tattoo from a buffaloes head. It is one of the few real brain waves of my life....
