text: Fined Losama Rs 10/- for a disgraceful Dak Bungalow fence. To Kozabama. Counted it. Tahome once a dobashi runs the place and there are no cases. His cow giving birth to a calf that day he could not entertain me. I mistook him and thought it was his wife giving birth and asked if it were male or female. He replied he had not taken the trouble to find out. This kept me pondering all evening on the strangeness of primitive peoples.
