A visit to the American Missionaries at Impur was pleasant, no ethnological or religious subjects were discussed. Then we went on to Mukokchung visiting Nunkum but avoiding spending the night there for reasons not mentioned by Mills. I learned afterwards that Hutton and some other officer too had had a dream of a child either with no body or with a body without a head. I make no comment as I avoided any mention of it. |
