text: (11) Nov. 18th Barak Bridge. Still more of Kambirong turned up next day. Showed them last years' photos, which scored huge success, as they recognised people they knew at Oinomlong and Okoklong. Very clever of them, as they're not used to photos. Also spotted Charles and Cupid. Cupid subsequently proved to be one of the small boys in camp. No sign of Charles. Had washday. Brunched at 12 noon. Celia taught Kambirong buck to knit. Presented him with a ball of wool & 2 bent needles, as he was trying hard with impromptu bamboo pins and strip of pith. Knitters at it hard all morning
