text: Passed pastor over to Abung for instruction in chicken-soup making, and eventually got off, with Khullakpa, two other elders and Luikai, for hill. Heard Khullakpa had sent 4 men to clear path. Met them coming down. Path went perpendicularly up and up and up. Had to keep on stopping to blow. My form not very good. Lovely views, but much jhum-smoke. Had sudden vision, just below summit, of snow-covered hills miles away into the unadministered country. Sun was on the snow and it looked glorious. Sat about a bit at top, took some photos, and came perpendicularly down.
