text: Long dispensary. Oh! those sores! One boy with toe almost off, cut suppurating; woman with huge sore on leg - made Chinaorang put his cloth to his face, & I took cover in Vapex. Yesterday's case with 3 huge sores - filthy stuff on dressings. Bandages now finished all but three small 1" strips. Dispensed from 9 till after 12. Luikai's tooth better, but still slight pain. Held bonfire of dressings from Naga sores. Went up village in p.m. Old gaonbura not so good. Boy had been sick over castor oil, so issued 1/2gr. Calomel. Looked out from village towards north and presumably Rengma, but camp Naga said 'Somaleng'. Never heard of them. Saw two of our Tangkhuls up in village on sitting-place. It rained again.
