text: |
Girl (K) married boy (L). No child after 3 years. Girl ran away home. Boy expressed his willingness to have her back, but girl refused, so was held to be at fault. Boy got a mithan and a necklace back out of the marriage-price. Couple were living in back room of parent's house, and girl refused her husband his conjugal rights. Thinking this might be from delicacy, his parents sent the young couple to sleep in the field-house; however, she refused him there also. Taxed, she said she did sometimes admit him, but boy said she would have nothing to do with him. |
