5) "Kachei" - Tangkhul spear; ordinary model, rather battered. From Nunghar village. Spears are also made in Ukhrul and Chingjaroi (Swemi). 15/2/40. Ref. no. TM3.

Wood of shaft is called in Tangkhul "Vanthang"; informant did not know name in Manipur.
