text: In the early morning an old man in each house - or if there is no resident elder, one called for the occasion - takes zu in a leaf cup and pours it by the hearth as an offering. The old man is given a liberal drink for his trouble, and the rest of the day is devoted to drinking and feasting. The bucks, and any of the older men who wish to, eat together in the morung, bringing zu and ready-cooked food from their houses.
