He is now a rahangmi, an unmarried youth. His parents indulge him as much as they can afford in dress and ornaments; his costume is handsome and distinctive, and he takes great pains with his hair-style and with the cleanliness of his person. He acquires adult weapons, a dao and spear. As a boy he was disciplined by his patron and the other young men of the kienga; he now comes directly under the orders of the warden of the young men's house (hangseoki-kazeipeo) and the two leaders of the young men (hangseo-mui-te-peo).
