text: | Nagas of village Mahamai (Marams) wear the black kilt but do not adorn it with kowries as the Tengimah do. The rings of cane round the leg are light colored or rather are not dyed, being left the natural color of the cane. At the waist they tie a short white cloth in a knot in front which aids in keeping the kilt up. |
