text: Wednesday 5th.
text: Washed Butler. A large quantity of matter came out with a rush when we turned him on his face. Discovered a bruise on his back and bruises and cuts on shoulder and end of spine. Stayed in camp and wrote letters - Went on with sketch of camp in the afternoon. Sat up late writing letters.
