Opened theodolite and commenced taking angles at 8 a.m. and did not leave off for a moment even till 2.30 p.m. Plane tabled and arrived in camp about 3. Breakfast and about 3.45 started again. Went down Eastern spur finding out new details till 6 when I thought it was time to return. Got back about 6.50. Bath. Dinner.
text: Some of our old lines had been burned by the Nagas nothing very astonishing or alarming in this.
