On the evening of the 19th the Brigadier General sent Major Evans and Lieutenant MacGregor to Kohima, with a convoy of provisions. They returned on the following day with a reinforcement of sixty five men of all ranks, and, accompanied by Colonel Johnstone, Chief Political Officer, and Captain Williamson, Assistant Political. The party was fired at when crossing the Zubzu, but no casualties occured. |
