text: 22nd February, Tuesday. This morning I received a deputation from Kezakensmah a village on the right bank of the Seejo and composed I am informed really of seven villages (like Sopoomah). The delegates presented me with a spear and informed me that they had come in to pay their respects and wished to know what I required as revenue. I informed them that at present I required nothing beyond their obedience to my orders I might issue, to which they at once replied in their figurative style that "they would obey me as children to their father" and left apparently in great good humour.
text: The balance of Rs.160 taken by Munipoorees from Veesvemah was this afternoon returned to the villagers in my presence.
