10th March, Thursday. Halted. Had a severe attack of fever last night and was confined to my bed all day. Dr. Brown came in during the afternoon and informed me that he had just received a letter from Mr. Ogle, the Assistant Surveyor telling him that he had been unable to procure coolies and was therefore prevented from journey as so we shall have no Survey Party in the Naga Hills this year after all. |
