text: | 31. The start made by vaccination during the previous year was not kept up. Only 495 persons were vaccinated, against 1,228 in the previous year. This decrease is attributed by the Civil Surgeon partly to the illness of the district vaccinator during the greater portion of the working season, and also to an order of Mr. McCabe, prohibiting the use of the police to enforce vaccination among the villagers. Only 17 Angamis were vaccinated. The work done in the Kohima dispensary during the last two years is shown below:- |
