text: This is a village on the east or right bank of the Dikhu, immediately above the point where it debouches on the plains. A party of seven or eight men belonging to it killed a man of Loraian near that village as he was returning from work in November 1887. Mr. McCabe proceeded to Kongan on 7th April and endeavoured to procure the surrender of the men concerned, but as the headmen refused to bring them in, the village was destroyed.
