text: 22. With regard to the trans-Dikhu Naga tribes there is nothing to mention. Our relations with all of them were friendly and in many instances villagers came in to ask for British protection. Their inter-tribal quarrels increased and many heads changed hands during the year, but they did not interfere in any way with the villages in the Mokokchang subdivision. No troops or military police were marched through the territory of these tribes during the year.
