24. The behaviour of the Eastern Angamis during the year was excellent. In the month of March the Deputy Commissioner went on tour amongst a few of the villages on the Sema side. During the year the Deputy Commissioner was unable to get hold of the murderers of the Lozema trader whose case was reported in paragraph 25 of the report for 1893-94, but at the end of March he received the names of four Satazumi men who are supposed to be the murderers. The boundaries of the area of control remained the same as in the previous year. |
