text: Of all the peoples I have studied the Konyaks were in many ways the physically most attractive. Men and women were of slender build and delicate bone structure, and retained even in middle age their youthful figures and graceful movements. Their facial features were of paleomongolid type, the pigmentation light to medium brown with a ruddy tinge and the eyes dark brown or black.
