text: It was an excited, riotous crowd that wound its way through the sunlit forest. Rhythmical shouts encouraged the sledge-draggers at the steepest parts of the path and mingled with the chirping of the cicadas and the voices of scared parrots. Netsoho alone did not wear the ceremonial dress, but the black, richly embroidered stone-dragging cloth. Very proudly he headed the procession with his wife.
