text: I heard next day that the party had lasted the whole night, and the young people had not gone to bed at all; because -- as Shankok told me -- the girls were so very young! At other parties of this kind the couples slip away to the privacy of the granaries quite early in the evening, but these girls, being little more than fifteen, hesitated over their first steps in the court of love.
