With Pangsha in sight, we feel that it will not be long before we learn with which particular strategy we are to be opposed. Matche has told us of Pangsha's intentions, for apparently they had boasted of their plans in Yimpang. Either to meet us on the path with many gifts and, putting us off our guard, trap us in an ambush, or to allow us to enter their village, overwhelming us with every sign of friendship, and then, as we leave, and least expect it, to fail on us, counting on our confusion and their superior numbers. |
