text: Feuds, however, were only episodes in their relations with neighbouring villages, and the Angs of Tang have intermarried with the chiefly houses of Sheangha, Mon, Chui, Longwa, Longyang, Longkhai, Pomau, Niaunu, and Joboka. In 1970, the Ang of Tang received tribute only from four villages, but there was a time when Sheangha and Longwa also paid tribute. They stopped these payments when their numerical strength outstripped that of Tang.
