text: 3. It may flare up briefly at any time when the young men are in active competition, especially at the catching of pigs and other sacrificial animals, when a high state of excitement prevails. At a minor feast in the summer the youths and girls dance in lines up and down the village street, and a clash is traditional when the opposing lines meet and will not give way; but this is not bound up with village ritual.
