a note taken of Geo Beiston's will in the name of god amen 8.3.1561 etc item I will there shall be given and distributed among the poor people of Colne aforesaid yearly 6s8d for ever at the feast of easter and christmas to be perceived levied and taken out of (398) a certain croft of land called Bearcroft in Colne aforesaid to be distributed yearly at the feasts aforesaid among the said poor people by the owners occupiers and enjoyers of the said croft of land for the time being for ever this I will be ready to avow or depose is a true note of the will aforesaid Wm Beeston
