14.4.1632 received of goodman Chrismas in part of his lady day rent 10s and he is to pay no more until next michaelmas when he is to pay me but 6li and I allow him this 20li for that he is to build my mill new and substantial to repair the house with all good and sufficient reparations and all the outhouse his barn but I promise him if he doth it a year or two hence and also he is presently with the mill to make new floodgates to make a new bridge the which if it be well and sufficiently done I promise him a lease of the mill for eleven or twelve years
